Journal Writing

April 16, 2015

I spent the day with my mom today. We ran errands and had lunch. Sure she dipped her spoonful of German chocolate cake in her ranch, but I am so grateful to just be with her. I went to write in my journal about it tonight and this was my last entry. Thank you Melanie and Trent for that special and critical moment. 

Girls on the Run 6/31/14

Leah ran a 5k for Girls on the Run at Sugar House Park in SLC. Rachel was her running buddy. They ran the whole time and even with the hills, ran it in 37  minutes. Great job Leah and Rachel! Leah has loved the Girls on the Run program. She loves running and now wants to be on the track team next year.

It was a mom and Leah trip. Leah had a great meet and we had a great time together.

Crazy hair day

Jessica's first grade program

The first graders did a program today about all the things they have learned this year. They sang songs and did actions. One song was about the continents. Jess did a good job. She was so excited to have us come. Trent took off a half a day of work to come see her. They grow up so fast. That's our last first grade program.

Tulip Festival

Jessica danced in the Tulip Festival Friday night. She did a great job. It was cold and expensive, so I was the only one who went. Jess had more fun having me take pictures of her with the beautiful than she did dancing.
